Released October 5, 2023 by Ubisoft, this game immediately became a favorite for many gamers who missed the old AC series. Metacritic 76/100 on PC, Steam review Mixed to Positive. Crazy, this game is a balance between classic AC and modern AC. No more level grinding that exhausts you.
What makes Mirage different from other AC series? The map is compact but dense, designed for parkour and stealth. Here, you truly become an Assassin, no more unclear open combat like the Windrose Online series. The Baghdad setting is very atmospheric, and Basim has a more personal story than most AC protagonists.
But don’t expect gameplay as long as Valhalla. Those who like RPG elements might be a bit disappointed. But for those who miss AC 2 and Brotherhood, this is the right game. The visuals are no less impressive than Clair Obscur Expedition 33 in my opinion.
