I first played this when it just released in 2012, and the replay value is still high to this day.
The gameplay combines stealth, disguise, and action. You can disguise as anyone, from janitors to police officers, to get close to the target without being noticed. The Instinct system is also unique, you can see through walls like eagle vision. But yes, some missions are more linear compared to Hitman 2016.
For those who like Metal Gear Solid V, I am sure you will get the same experience in this game. But if you want more modern stealth action, you can try Sniper Elite 4 with cool mechanics.
