Windrose PC Full is a pirate survival game with Souls-lite combat, powered by Unreal Engine 5 with stunning visuals. Sadly multiplayer free is no longer working in this version. You need to buy the game. 🥲
At first I thought this was just a chill sailing game. Turns out, the mechanics and combat are seriously impressive. Think Len’s Island meets Green Hell, but with a more realistic package and more features.
You can recruit crew members, manage their needs to prevent mutiny, hunt for treasure, maintain your ship, and attack enemy pirate vessels. All on Unreal Engine 5, so the ocean and environment visuals are gorgeous. Though you’ll need a beefy PC to run it.
For me, this is the best pirate game since AC Black Flag. Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones should be ashamed a small indie game can be this good lol.
If you’re into pirate games, Pirates Outlaws offers a more casual experience on PC. But for a serious open-world survival fix, Subnautica 2 is also a great pick.

- Open the extracted folder, run Start The Game.bat or Windrose.exe.

Troubleshooting Game Errors, Crash and Stuck :
- Game crash on startup? Whitelist the game folder in Windows Defender.
- Crash while loading? Update DirectX Runtime and Visual C++ Redistributable.
- Crash on startup? Run the game as Administrator, update Windows.
- Stuttering and low FPS? Update GPU driver and disable V-Sync.
