Ubisoft finally gives us that more classic AC gameplay vibe. But unfortunately, Ubisoft is still Ubisoft. They did a maneuver that gamers hate: microtransactions in-game.
True, the game is fun. But the DLC is priced higher than the game itself. Chaos.
What makes Shadows different from other AC series? Two very different playstyle characters. Naoe for stealth, Yasuke for brutal combat. The feudal Japan map is very atmospheric, especially with dynamic weather. Of course, the graphics are much better than Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Master Assassin.
Metacritic and user reviews say this is “the best AC in years.” But some also say the map is too big and empty, side quests are repetitive. Overall, for those who like open-world action in feudal Japan, this game is still worth it. If you want to try a more dense open-world, check out Gothic 1 Remake.

Steps to Install Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Your PC :
- Mount the ISO file to your computer.
- Run Setup.exe and complete the installation process.
- Then download and install update to Version 1.1.10 and v1.1.11.
- You must enable CPU Virtualization in BIOS (VT-x or AMD-V).
- Open the game folder, run \bin64\VBS.cmd, press number 1, then restart PC.
(Always use the latest VBS.cmd, download here) - When rebooting, press F7 when a new window appears
(to disable driver signature). - Run the game from the desktop shortcut.
- After playing, run VBS.cmd again. Choose number 3 for RESET.
