What makes Atomic Heart different from other FPS games is the unique Soviet aesthetics. Retro-futuristic robots, mysterious underground facilities, and the cool protagonist P-3. Besides that, the combat is also satisfying, we can basically use many methods. Melee, ranged, and upgradeable abilities.
In my opinion, this game is “a beautiful mess”, visually stunning but the gameplay is a bit rough in some parts. But overall, this game is worth it for those who like FPS action with an anti-mainstream story.
True, some say this game was a bit buggy at launch. But now it’s been patched and those issues fixed. Some even say this game is more fun than current AAA games.
