The story begins when Dr. Light and Dr. Wily are still friends, until Dr. Light steps in to stop his friend’s experiment. That resentment eventually leads to a technology called the Double Gear System. Who would have thought it would make robots turn against humanity?
Here, Mega Man comes equipped with the Double Gear System. Speed Gear slows time, while Power Gear boosts his weapons. I barely use Power Gear because I prefer playing it safe, but Speed Gear has saved me more than once when spikes appear right in front of me.
Its Steam rating is Very Positive, at around 89% from thousands of reviews, which is pretty good.
If you want a platformer focused more on exploration, Ori and the Will of the Wisps is worth a try. 👍
