But, the dev team is still just three people, which is why this game feels so personal.
The style and atmosphere haven’t changed one bit. That said, if you’re into challenging games like Elden Ring Nightreign, this is right up your alley.
Now, for the story…. Hornet gets kidnapped by a group of masked bugs and taken to Pharloom, a religious kingdom plagued by the Haunting. She has no idea why she was taken. So she escapes to Moss Grotto and sets out to find her way back to the Citadel.
Gameplay-wise, it’s still 2D platforming with fast combat and that souls-like difficulty. Tough, but addictive. I’d say it’s on par with Prince of Persia The Lost Crown.
