The most memorable character in Far Cry 3 for me is definitely Vaas Montenegro. He is impulsive, sadistic, and “insane”, one of the most iconic video game antagonists. His “Definition of Insanity” dialogue really stuck in my head to this day. Honestly, Vaas is more interesting than the protagonist himself. 😈
For gameplay, Far Cry 3 gives freedom to the player. You can raid enemy outposts frontally like Just Cause 4 or play like Assassin’s Creed Shadows with stealth kills and arrows. Besides that, there are many weapon choices balanced with a fairly fast skill upgrade progression.
The most fun part when exploring the Far Cry 3 map is hunting animals for crafting, capturing enemy outposts, then climbing radio towers to unlock the map while enjoying the island view.
