The story: Ezio Auditore, a young nobleman from Florence whose family was betrayed. He learns to become an Assassin for revenge. From the rooftops of Florence, the canals of Venice, to Vatican City, everything can be explored. Of course, his parkour and hidden blade are iconic.
What makes AC2 special? Ezio’s charismatic character, deep story, and beautiful Italian setting. On Steam, many reviews say this is the best AC series ever. But, some mechanics are already outdated, like repetitive combat and mission design that’s sometimes frustrating. But for 2010, this was a truly revolutionary game. Of course, the hidden blade and parkour are still fun to play even now.
For those who like world exploration games like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth or God of War, AC2 has a world of its own. More focused on narrative and stealth.
