Released February 16, 2017 by Avalanche Studios, this game has become the standard for hunting simulation. The graphics are incredibly detailed, from the sound of rustling leaves to the wind direction that can make animals smell you. Metacritic gave a decent score, and on Steam the rating is Very Positive from tens of thousands of reviews.
What makes theHunter different from other games? The hunting mechanics are a real simulation. You have to read footprints, analyze wind, and be patient waiting for the right moment to shoot. Of course, very different from Sons of the Forest which is more crafting survival. Here, patience is the main key.
With 70+ DLCs, you can hunt in African savannas, Scottish mountains, up to Japanese forests. Each region has different wildlife and weather.
But don’t be surprised, this game is quite demanding, requires 16 GB RAM and GTX 1060 GPU or higher.
