Army of Ruin differs from other survivor-like games mostly because of its skill tree. It’s not simple. There’s a trait system that can be unlocked and upgraded. The boss fights are also very challenging. You really need the right combo of skills and weapon selection. Otherwise, you’ll keep failing for sure.
Yeah, the late game gets a bit repetitive once you’ve unlocked all traits. But for the first 5-10 hours, the gameplay loop is super satisfying.
