Arma Reforger (v1.8.0.13)
A Cold War battle simulation that can last an hour or stretch over several days, with only a map and compass to guide you. Arma Reforger Full is a military sim where you survive across a huge battlefield against AI opponents. I’m sharing the pre-installed download link here.
For me, it’s one of the most realistic warzone games around. The setup is simple: you drop into a 1989 Cold War sandbox and pick a mode, from Conflict and Game Master to Combat Ops.
There are three large islands, plus Kolguyev, which serves as the setting for the 1989 single-player campaign. Expect dense forests, small towns, and hidden military installations. Its gunplay feels more realistic than Ground Branch. Every shot uses detailed ballistics, so you’ll need a map and compass to find your way.
In terms of gameplay, it’s still very much like Arma 3: both are military simulations, and both can be expanded with community-made mods.

- Extract the file with WinRAR or 7-Zip (password: www.yasir252.com).
- Open the extracted game folder.
- Run Start The Game.bat or the game executable as administrator.

Fixing Game Errors, Crashes, and Stuck Issues:
- The game crashes on startup? Make sure the game folder is whitelisted in Windows Defender.
- Crashes while loading? Update DirectX Runtime and install the latest Visual C++ Redistributable.
