I bought this game five years ago when BigFry reviewed it, and now version 1.0 has finally arrived.
But honestly, the AI is incredibly frustrating. Bots can shoot you through walls, without even finishing their turn, and they can see you in the dark without NVGs.
That makes solo play almost unplayable. But for co-op with friends, it is seriously fun.
What makes Ground Branch different from other tactical shooters is its genuinely physical firearm handling. You can dump a mag right after checking it, unlike Ready or Not, which does not let you do that.
If you want a more polished tactical shooter, Ready or Not is probably more worth trying. But Ground Branch has its own charm with its unique physical weapon handling.
