This one is really helpful for me.

Steps to Install ON1 Effects 2026 on Your Mac :
- Download the ON1EF2651mac.zip file (719 MB) from the link below.
- Extract the ZIP file.
- Double-click the DMG file to mount it.
- Run Open Gatekeeper Friendly to bypass Gatekeeper.
- Drag the app to the Applications folder if needed.
- Done! 😍
VERY IMPORTANT: You have to learn how to install apps from outside the App Store. That is with the Enable Kernel Extensions method, Disable SIP and turn off Gateway Keeper on Mac. So if there is a problem, “damaged” or anything else, it is not the wrong file! But MacOS has not been unlocked for external apps.
Fixing Some Installation Problems and Errors :
- Software does not run? Run Open Gatekeeper Friendly from the DMG, or disable Gatekeeper with “sudo spctl –master-disable”.
- “Damaged and Can’t Be Opened”? Run this in Terminal:
sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/ON1\ Effects.app - Crash at startup? Make sure MacOS is updated to the latest version.
