This one is wild… Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered v4.0630.0 from Insomniac Games picks up the timeline of an adult Peter Parker, complete with all the gadgets and the newest costume designs. This PC version was remastered by Nixxes Software, with the graphics upgraded to enable ray tracing and DLSS. The game file is pre-installed, all The City That Never Sleeps DLC included. The web-swinging is the most iconic part. Soaring between Manhattan buildings at high speed, the momentum is addictive. The combat is a combination of web shoot, gadgets, and takedowns.
But the story can be called 90% original, not a film adaptation. Even though there are still iconic villains like Doctor Octopus, Rhino, and Green Goblin. But the storyline progression is very different.
For me, this is one of the best PC ports. Even though honestly the side missions are very, very repetitive.
For those who like superhero action fighting crime, you can also try Halo Campaign Evolved it is also worth a try, different universe but the heroic story is just as exciting.
