Transmit (v5.11.7 MacOS)
Need a Mac file-transfer app that is easy to use and works with plenty of cloud services? Transmit Full (v5.11.7) is an FTP client for Mac with a two-pane view, transfer queue, and the ability to mount servers in Finder. It supports FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, S3, and more. I’ve put the software download link below. 🔥
It is made by Panic Inc., a Mac developer also known for Coda and Nova. Unlike many FTP clients, Transmit supports eleven cloud services, AES-256 encryption for copying server settings between devices.
The built-in Folder Sync is a standout feature: select two folders and let it keep them in sync. There is also Multi-part Transfer for large files and a Bandwidth Limiter to control upload speeds.
For a lighter FTP client on Mac, Yummy FTP is another option. If you need a walkthrough for connecting to an FTP server through cPanel or Plesk, see How to Connect to FTP in FileZilla.
Download Transmit below; I have included one MacOS installer. 👍
