Mountain Duck (v5.3.2.29785)
Tired of opening a browser just to move files to the cloud? Mountain Duck Full (v5.3.2.29785) changes everything. Mount Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or FTP once and it appears as a regular drive in Windows Explorer. Drag and drop like a local folder. Installer is ready below, go grab it! 🔥
I started using it for my office FTP server. Saving files used to mean opening a slow web file manager. Now I just open the Mountain Duck drive and handle everything in Windows Explorer. Copy, paste, done.
Nothing fully downloads to the hard disk either. Mountain Duck pulls a file only when opened, the rest stay on the server. Local space stays lean even when the cloud fills up.
For teamwork, version 5.3.2 adds server-side file locking. Open files lock automatically, so no more clashes with teammates on the same files.
Now, for pure FTP workflows on a Mac, Transmit FTP is the closest equivalent, built around fast server transfers. On the flip side, Scooter Beyond Compare compares folders before you copy, so nothing gets overwritten by accident.
Want to try it before buying the official license? Download it below, totally worth it. 👍
