The app is made by Cultured Code. In my opinion, this is the best task management app for Mac, simple for beginners yet still packed with extra features for power users. What I like most is natural language input to add tasks faster, just type and it lands. There are tags, projects, areas, deadlines plus reminders, quick entry, calendar, all the way to syncing between devices.
The notes already support Markdown too, plus native Shortcuts on MacOS.

Steps to Install Things 3 on Your Mac :
- Download the THGS3241mac-yasir252.zip file (37 MB) from the link below.
- Extract the ZIP on the Mac. No password needed.
- Open the Setup/Things3 3.24.1 MAS [TNT].iso file, then mount the image.
- Inside the image, open the Manual install folder, then mount Things3 3.24.1 MAS [TNT].dmg.
- Copy the application into the Applications folder.
- If macOS blocks the application, choose Open Anyway or follow the Gatekeeper steps.
- Done! 😁
VERY IMPORTANT: You have to learn how to install applications from outside the App Store. Enable Kernel Extensions method, Disable SIP and turn off Gateway Keeper on Mac. So if a problem shows up, “damaged” or anything else, it is not the file that is wrong! But MacOS has not been unlocked for external applications.
