The story puts you stranded on a mysterious island after the plane you were on crashed. There is only one way home. Climb the mountain standing in the middle of the island. Reach the PEAK and raise the SOS, or you will never get back at all. The mechanics are simple but they demand patience. Climb, manage your stamina, fight the snowstorm. The goal is the same as playing Only Up and Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy.
Every decision has to be fast, whether to stay with the team or spread out to look for supplies. One wrong step and the consequences are fatal. So teamwork is not an option. It is non-negotiable, if you ask me.
This game by Team PEAK was released on June 16, 2025. Version v2.1.a has fixed a lot of online multiplayer bugs. You can create a lobby and invite friends via Steam. The more the merrier.
The low-poly graphics are also easy on the eyes. The characters are cute too. Many people play solo to chase speedruns. But for me, playing with friends is way more fun.

How to Play PEAK Online Multiplayer :
- Install and log in to your Steam account.
- Make sure you and your friend are already on each other’s Steam friend list.
- The host runs Start The Game.bat, then presses Escape and selects “Invite Player”.
- Your friends just run Start The Game.bat and wait for the invite to come in via Steam.
