Remember playing Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and getting completely hooked? Now there’s Heroes of Might and Magic Olden Era PC Full Version, the official prequel to that legendary series. A turn-based strategy RPG from Unfrozen that nails the classic feel with modern graphics. I’m sharing the download link, pre-installed v0.80.24, just extract and play. 🔥
Released April 30, 2026 by Hooded Horse in Early Access, this game already has a Very Positive 87% rating on Steam from over 5,000 reviews. PC Gamer called it a “brilliant strategy game”, GamesRadar+ said “triumphant return”. Crazy.
After playing it, I found there are 6 unique factions (Temple, Grove, Dungeon, Necropolis, and others) and 100+ heroes with different skills and spells. Plus, turn-based combat on hex grids. Still the same formula! Multiple game modes too: campaign, skirmish, and online multiplayer. Pretty cool, right?
But yeah, since it’s still Early Access, the content isn’t complete yet. Underground layer, full campaign, and some factions are still in development. But what’s there is solid enough to play.
If you’re into turn-based strategy games like Songs of Conquest or tactical RPGs like Songs of Silence, Olden Era has that legendary Heroes 3 feel with modern production quality.

- Run Start The Game.bat as Run as Administrator.
- Add the game folder to Windows Defender Exclusion so it doesn’t get deleted.
