Origins no longer focuses on many characters. We instead play as a single amnesiac protagonist, witnessing the beginning of the Three Kingdoms conflict.
Combat mechanics are overhauled: now there is a parry system, evade, and weapon switching.
Honestly the protagonist sometimes feels too much of a blank slate, and side missions feel repetitive. But that might be covered by the main story. Still worth it.
For those who like musou formula games like One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, I think DW Origins will not disappoint you. If you need something more challenging, install Ninja Gaiden 4. More brutal.
