Unlike other design software that’s heavy and complicated, this program is simple. You can draw floor plans, drag furniture, and immediately see the 3D result. Perfect for me, who’s lazy about learning tools and all the complexity.

What makes Sweet Home 3D different from other home design software is that it has a fairly complete furniture catalog. Although we do need a premium subscription to access all the assets.

But for me, the features aren’t as powerful as SketchUp or AutoCAD. Overall, for those who need simple yet powerful home design, this is still worth trying.

Steps to Install Sweet Home 3D on Your PC :

1. Disable internet connection first. Then proceed to install the software.
2. To import additional furniture and textures: open the app, click Furniture > Import Furniture Library.
3. Navigate to: C:\Program Files\Sweet Home 3D\furniture.
4. Import Texture Library from: C:\Program Files\Sweet Home 3D\textures.
5. Import all available libraries.
6. Block the program with Windows Firewall (recommended).
7. Done, enjoy! 😍
