DaisyDisk (v4.34.2) MacOS
Is your Mac showing the “disk almost full” notification again? That is panic inducing. You only installed a few apps, and suddenly storage is critical. DaisyDisk Mac Full (v4.34.2) is here to crack that mystery, the scan is fast, the result is an interactive colourful ring chart.
I have used it on my Mac for a few weeks and it is great. 🔥
This is made by Software Ambience Corp., a 3x winner of the App Store Best of the Year and included in Apple’s Editors’ Choice. Word is it is used by 26,200+ Apple and Pixar employees.
The price is not expensive either, $9.99 one-time payment, lifetime, no subscription. The mysterious “Other” and “System Data” folders in About This Mac get opened up too, even though the file system is protected.
Once you know which space is the most overloaded, you can move on to cleaning up storage, using CleanMyMac as the partner, both are MacOS utilities focused on clearing disk space.

VERY IMPORTANT: You have to learn how to install applications from outside the App Store. Enable Kernel Extensions method, Disable SIP and turn off Gateway Keeper on Mac. So if a problem shows up, “damaged” or anything else, it is not the file that is wrong! But MacOS has not been unlocked for external applications.
