2. Extract the ZIP file, open the 4K Video Downloader+ 26.2 folder.
3. Drag 4K Video Downloader+.app to the Applications folder.
4. Open Terminal, run: sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/4K Video Downloader+.app
5. Or: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

Fix Gatekeeper MacOS (IMPORTANT): If the app won’t open due to unidentified developer, open Terminal and run the xattr command above. Alternative: System Settings → Privacy & Security → find 4K Video Downloader → click Open Anyway.

Troubleshooting Error & Compatibility :

• Unidentified developer? Open Terminal -> sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine
• Download failed midway? Check WiFi connection, pause then resume the download.
• Only getting 720p when selecting 4K? Make sure the video link actually has native 4K resolution.
• App suddenly quits? Make sure macOS is updated to the latest version (Sonoma/Sequoia).
