Proteus has several new features that improve the workflow, such as Measure & Move and ProPilot.
The Measure and Move feature in PCB layout makes it easier to measure distances between objects. You can also move objects with precise spacing without adjusting the grid. ProPilot can now help create new part libraries from a description and datasheet pages, though it is still in beta.
In my view, Proteus is most powerful when testing firmware alongside PCB design, though the application can be fairly demanding. For comparison, Autodesk EAGLE and CST Studio Suite are also commonly used for PCB design. They take quite different approaches, though.

Steps to Install Proteus on Your PC :
- Download Proteus Professional v9.2 SP1 using the link below.
- Extract the file with the latest WinRAR.
- Run setup.exe and wait for the installation to finish.
- Open the Crack folder and copy version.dll to
– C:\Program Files\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 9 Professional\Bin. - If Proteus asks for a license, use License\license.lxk.
- Launch Proteus and start using it. Success! 👍
