Total Commander (v11.58.1) + Portable
Windows File Explorer is only good for basic copy-paste. Once your files start piling up, it can feel sluggish and unreliable. Total Commander Full is an alternative file manager that tackles that problem, with a lighter footprint and plenty of useful tools. I’ve shared the download links for both versions below. 🔥
The feature I use most is the side-by-side multi-panel view. I can open two folders at once and copy or move files between them. Just drag a file from one panel to the other.
And there’s more: Compare Files works with an editor, while Synchronize Directories helps match folder contents. You can open ZIP, RAR, and 7-Zip archives right from its panels too. It also has a built-in FTP client, Multi-Rename Tool, and Quick View.

Steps to Install Total Commander on Your PC :
- Download TC1158i.rar (17 MB) using the links below.
- Extract it with WinRAR or 7-Zip.
(password: www.yasir252.com) - Open Folder 1 and run Setup.exe.
- Close Total Commander if it’s running.
- Open Folder 2 and copy everything inside.
- Paste the files into the installed Total Commander folder and choose Replace.
(Make sure the original files are overwritten.)
