There are layout tools, mail merge, and direct printer integration. After trying it for a few days, I can say this is the best budget alternative to InDesign on Mac.
This app is perfect for those who need design with a clean interface, plenty of templates, and professional results. Unfortunately, for complex projects, it does not have the depth of InDesign. But for everyday work needs, I recommend it and it is more than enough.

Steps to Install Swift Publisher on MacOS :
- Download the SP578mac.zip file (494 MB) via the link below.
- Mount the DMG file.
- Run Open Gatekeeper Friendly to bypass Gatekeeper.
- Open the Manual Install folder, mount the inner DMG.
- Drag Swift Publisher 5.app to the Applications folder.
- Open from Launchpad. Done! 😍
Troubleshooting Some Installation Issues :
- Cannot run? Run Open Gatekeeper Friendly from the DMG to bypass Gatekeeper.
- “Application is damaged” error? Run:
sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Swift\ Publisher\ 5.app - Crash on startup? Restart Mac, try running again from Launchpad.
- PDF export error? Check disk space, make sure there is enough for output.
