Splunk Enterprise (v10.2.3)

It indexes everything, then lets you search it with SPL. Its dashboards and alerts also run in real time, so you can spot anomalies before they turn into incidents. Behind it is Splunk, which has been part of Cisco since 2024. What sets it apart from a typical log analyzer is that you don’t need to define a schema first, so you can search raw logs as they are.
I also find the interface clean and easy to use for everyday work. There’s just one search bar, and results show up right away as a table or chart.
If I want to inspect network packets down to their raw contents, I usually use Wireshark. For a visual breakdown of which apps are using a PC’s network and which hosts they contact, GlassWire Elite tracks past and current traffic, while Splunk searches broader machine data across logs, metrics, and traces.

Steps to Install Splunk Enterprise on Your PC :
- Download SPLK1023-yasir252.rar (1.02 GB).
- Extract it with WinRAR or 7-Zip.
(Password: www.yasir252.com) - Open folder 1 -> run Setup.msi and follow the installation steps.
- Create a username and password when the installer asks.
- Open folder 2 -> run the License Server that matches your Windows version.
- Launch Splunk from the Start Menu and sign in with that account.
- Go to Settings > Licensing, then click Change to peer.
- Select Designate a different Splunk, then enter http://127.0.0.1:1337.
- Click Save, then Restart Now and select Splunk Restart.
- Close and reopen Splunk, and run License Server each time. Done! 😁
