Steps to Install PTC Mathcad Prime on Your PC :
- Download the PTCMP12010win.rar file using the link below.
- Extract the archive using WinRAR or 7-Zip.
- Open Readme (How to Install).txt and follow the instructions.
(The text is in English, so translate it first.) - Run PTC Mathcad Prime after all instructions are complete.
Fix License Not Recognized on Windows 11 :
On the latest Windows 11 Pro, activation sometimes fails because ptc_hostid.exe cannot read the MAC address correctly. To fix it, open PowerShell and type:
- Get-NetAdapter | Select-Object Name, MacAddress, Status
- Use it to view the active adapter with UP status.
- After that, open the PTC_D_SSQ.dat file with Notepad.
- Find the PTC_HOSTID=00-00-00-00-00-00 section.
- Replace those zeros with your laptop’s actual MAC address.
- Save the file.
