What sets Notepad++ apart from Windows Notepad is its pure Win32 API foundation, so it weighs only a dozen or so megabytes, opens instantly, and barely uses RAM even with large files open.
Its standout feature is Search and Replace. Just turn on Regex mode, search an entire folder at once.
When I need a more capable editor for huge text files, I also often use EmEditor Professional. If you want a more modern, cross-platform interface, Sublime Text is another option.

- Download NTPD8981x64.rar (6.6 MB).
- Extract it with WinRAR or 7-Zip (Password: www.yasir252.com).
- Run the .exe installer and choose 64-bit or 32-bit for your version of Windows.
- Follow the installer until setup is complete.
