Autokroma AfterCodecs (v1.12.2)
The built-in Adobe exporter often feels lacking, especially regarding file size and quality. Incomplete, and slow when encoding. That is why I always install Autokroma AfterCodecs Full v1.12.2 on every editing workstation. This plugin is the solution to get rid of the outdated QuickTime that often crashes on Windows.

What I like most about AfterCodecs is its consistency. Unlike the default exporter which sometimes produces gamma shift at low bitrates, this plugin uses the FFmpeg engine natively embedded in Adobe. Render results are more stable and about 15% faster than the regular render queue.
For MacOS users, the .pkg installer is also available. Just open the package and follow the wizard, it connects directly to your installed Adobe CC.

Steps to Install AfterCodecs on Windows :
- Download the AC112i-yasir252.rar file (31.66 MB) via the link below.
- Close all Adobe applications (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder).
- Extract the archive with WinRAR or 7-Zip.
- Open the 1. Setup folder, run Autokroma bundle 2026.8 CE.exe.
- Follow the installation wizard until complete.
- Open After Effects, go to Export, choose AfterCodecs in the Output Module.
Steps to Install AfterCodecs on MacOS :
- Download the AC112mac-yasir252.zip file (38.48 MB) via the link below.
- Close all running Adobe applications.
- Extract the zip file on MacOS.
- Open the Mac AfterCodecs_v1_11_2_U2B.pkg file.
